I liked 6 of them especially Catching Fire, Hunger Games and The Hobbit. The one I didn’t enjoy as much is Lost Symbol mainly because after reading Dan Brown’s previous books I easily predicted the big twist. 🙂

Oh I can COMPLETELY agree with the Dan Brown sentiments. He is repetitive and boring. Angels and Demons was great and then everything after that was much the same.

Wow Zoe! That is quite an amazing list. I’m not even sure I’ve read that many books (aside from academic use) from start to finish in my lifetime. Such an inspiration to see you accomplish that! I might have to start doing some more reading myself 🙂

You read R.L Stine’s The Babysitter, I used to love that when I was a kid! I am on number #36 at the moment. I have a question do you enjoy the Harry Potter books? Just curious…Also are you sick of books yet? And one more do you use a tablet to read or old fashioned paper? Inquiring minds want to know!

Nope, not sick of books, I love to read. Currently on Stephen King’s The Gunslinger, I have been meaning to read these books for years!
I use both a tablet and physical books, though I am far more happy with a physical copy than a digital one. For many petty reasons, but you simply cannot top a book. I do want to swap out my tablet for an ereader though, better battery life and all that, and I can read anywhere. What do you prefer?

At this point, at times I get frustrated with reading, I have trouble finding books that I really like. I’d like to go back and read some of the classics I never got a chance to read. Do you have any fave classics?
Harry Potter, I have never read something about those kids annoys me. LOL.
Dragon Tattoo books, I actually really am loving so far. I love Blomkvist and Sander they are a great team.
Yes I find that on my iPad it gets heavy and uncomfortable to read on and you are right nothing beats a good, old fashioned book with dog-eared pages and that used book feel to it. 🙂 Thanks again for answering all my questions, I was just curious and thanks for giving me good ideas for books to read.

That’s so cool! Hmmmm… I absolutely adored The Great Gatsby, and was one of the few that really enjoyed Animal Farm this side. I would love to read To Kill A Mocking Bird, we didn’t do it here for school. Which ones did you enjoy?
The movies were terrible, if that’s what you’re basing the decision on, but the books were fantastic and totally worth the read!
I thoroughly enjoyed that trilogy, which completely took me by surprise!
Ah, and that book smell. You have to love it! It was truly a pleasure, love to have my brain picked, and I hope you find something you like. I would highly recommend Slaughter’s work, she impresses me no end!

Hey there! As for classics I really love Brave New World, Shakespeare’s Othello & Hamlet, Farenheit 451, Gulliver’s Travels, and anything by Oscar Wilde.
Yes I really hated the Harry Potter movies, I don’t know something about them I just don’t get the frenzy. I will have to check out the books then.
I am really enjoying Stieg Larsson’s way of writing and I really like the characters!
Nothing like a good used book that has personality and memories attached to it. 🙂 I will have to check out Slaughter’s work, I am trusting your taste!

I had a lot of fun with Othello in school, we did that one!
Yuck those movies SUCKED so bad! They COMPLETELY missed the point of the books and the stories told in them, so rather read them, you might very well end up enjoying them, who knows?
The first time I read his books, I was one of those that judged by the title. When I opened it up and saw that it was translated, too, I thought I was going to cry (translated books almost never work), and then I started reading. Wow… totally forgot it was supposed to be my filler material between studying and just read the whole time!
Ahhhh, old books, new books, any books, I’ll take them! Well, I recently roped my best friend into reading her work and she was incredibly impressed, so you may very well like it (she and I don’t even remotely read in the same genre). The story she tells is brilliant, too, as it builds on with each book, though you can read them as standalone novels, it packs more punch in the series and order it was intended I think!
