Sporadic Scene: The Silence of the Lambs (1991) – Hannibal Meets Senator Martin

This scene… goosebumps each and every single time. Just the way that Anthony Hopkins continued the disturbing conversation and flashes his eyes by the end of it is truly just disconcerting on so many levels.

If you have a scene that you would like featured, drop me a mail at sporadiczoe@hotmail.com with a picture/gif/video of the scene and an explanation as to why (should you want to include it).

  1. Amputate a man’s leg and he can still feel it tickling. Tell me, mum, when your little girl is on the slab, where will it tickle you? 🙂

    great choice Zoe!

  2. It doesn’t get much more disturbing than this!! What a great selection.

Sends shivers down my spine every time I watch this lol

    1. Thank you!

Ah, this scene is just chilling, with you there. His eyes when he is talking, especially after the suit quip! LOVE it!

    1. 😦 Awwww that sucks. I hate that, a lot is like that at my work too. If you get a second, you should check it out. Definitely a brilliant scene!

      1. The trouble is, it’s so ubiquitous now, and SO many of it’s scenes are famous in their own right, that I feel like I’ve seen it anyway!

      2. Noooooo, irrespective of the famous scenes or anything like that, this is just one of those films that you really have to see. It is brilliant and I think when you get it in its entirety it will still be great, even though the scenes are known to you.

      1. Lol. Don’t know. I’ve just never liked serial killer type movies. That’s why I knew from the start that True Detective was a bad idea… ; ) I love the Goodbye Horses song, though! ; )
