I have another guest poster contributing to my currently incredibly popular Sporadic Scene segment! Please welcome Drew of Drew’s Movie Reviews to my blog today to share a scene with us! Thanks Drew.
If you have a scene that you would like featured, drop me a mail at sporadiczoe@hotmail.com with a picture/gif/video of the scene and an explanation as to why (should you want to include it).
The Fast and Furious series is known for its absurd and crazy set pieces, but this scene from Fast Five is one of the most over-the-top from all seven movies (except maybe the plane jumping cars from Furious 7) and therefore one of my favorites. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) must carry the vault from the bank to their hideout, creating an unforgettable chase scene through the streets of Rio. Whenever I think of best scenes from the franchise, this is always at the forefront of my mind.
Fantastic choice Drew, i love this scene. It’s absolutely ridiculous but knows it and always makes me smile.

Nice choice! Must admit I’ve not seen past the second movie, though… 😉

Thanks, Mutant! I wouldn’t worry about Tokyo Drift too much, Fast & Furious may be even skippable, but Fast Five and on is worth checking out.

This is the only one of the series I’d seen beyond the first (and the most recent, now), and this scene stood out even for me.
