I am back to bug you all with another 100 Happy Days post! I have been pretty busy the past ten days, so without further ado, here’s what I have been up to 🙂
Day 31:
New shoes. I mean OMG. I love these Tomys. I went in looking for something else entirely when my fiancé spotted these. He said they were totally my thing – sneakers, some stripes, no laces? He was so right. They are super ridiculously comfortable, too, so I lucked out on all fronts.
Day 32:
So a group of us went out to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Yes, it was my second viewing. Yes, it was still epic. We stopped for sundaes and waffles after, which was really cool.
My one friend is pretty snappy happy, so there was actually a pic of me. I did, however, insist that those of us wearing Star Wars shirts in the group to come together for a pic. It was great.
As for the nails, I loved them so much that, even though they were in the pic above, they totally deserved to be seen in all their glory. They were themed, the Light side and the Dark, and I loved them.
Day 33:
Yes, so much Star Wars was happening. I had a good friend over for a marathon. Needless to say, we didn’t get through nearly as many of the films as we would have hoped, but we will most certainly be continuing this at another stage. Preferably where we have seen each other in between and spoken ourselves hoarse.
Day 34:
So my friend returned with her other half the day after Star Wars because I was simply horrified to learn she had never seen The Godfather. This all came up in a really weird conversation of what you would watch if it was the last movie you were ever going to see before you died. Macabre, I know, but an immensely important question! I had such a great time rewatching. You can never go wrong with The Godfather, and I was so happy to share something I love dearly with a friend, especially seeing as she had a total blast.
Day 35:
So did my nails with this new polish I got. The polish was more pink than I had thought, but the colour looks fantastic, so I am happy. Plus the sun hit my ring at just the right time, so my bling has some shine, and that rocks 😀
Day 36:
When my bestie rolled up, I got even more gifts. I was totally stoked because, well, you all know I love gifts. Who doesn’t? I was so happy – a horror box set, my favourite Body Shop set, and a new baby Vader for my ever-growing Vader collection? Winning. However, this little thing decided to take on my giant Vader on the first day of the new year, and I was horrified to have to save my giant Vader that owns the lounge. Peace has since been restored, but for how long I am unsure.
Day 37:
Chilling with my bestie was just great. I love having Natasha around, and always wish we lived closer together. A few months ago it was decided that we actually have to take more pictures, so here is our concerted effort to do so.
Day 38:
A good day! We got another photo (whoop), Natasha and I went wool shopping, we had iced coffees in the morrow and went out for dinner in the evening, so I think we were productive all round.
Because I love this pic so much, I felt that it deserved to be seen in all its glory, not cropped xD
The Kidney and I up to shenanigans, of course!
Day 39:
I have started knitting my first ever blanket (and hush, I can hear you all having a giggle over the latest developments). I really love the colours I have picked, and I am having quite a bit of fun with this project. We will have to see how it ends when it is all over.
Day 40:
Tried my hand at an Al Fredo, and it was quite nice. I haven’t made one in ages because I am just not big on ham, but my fiancé went out and bought a total overkill of shaved smoked ham the other day and naturally I had to find something to do with it. Problem solved!
Great list mah bestie!! It was such fun to visit you and Rix… I love you guys! So happy you like your prezzies – Baby Vader was so mean to Daddy Vader (that is how I think of them now). I really hope he behaves. I really do.

Love this, it’s so cute to see you and Natasha together. I always say that to now with iphones and what not, I don’t take as many pics with my friends as I used to, so that’s good that you guys are recording these moments.

🙂 Right?! We live in a day and age where pretty much everyone has access to a camera and stuff, and yet all we get pretty much are selfies, no shared moments. Oh well!
